Customizing your product
Itron UK's greatest strength is in their capacity to customise all of their products to exactly suit the most demanding needs of their customers. Both hardware and software can be customised from slight semi-custom modifications like adding connectors or peripherals and software user interfaces; right through to enclosures, fully customised boards, graphic user interfaces (GUI) and full system integration including multiple boards and peripherals including product application software.

01What programming language are you using?
We developed our own object oriented programming language rather than provide a product with Linux or an operating system supporting compiled 'C' language. We believe it offers new product opportunities and is easier to use.

02Is it possible to emulate a project on the PC?
Yes. You can run a real-time emulation of the project, where you can use communication interfaces, IO port, External Keys, ADC and PWM You can also add entities to a Watch List then stop,view these as the project runs.

03How do I upload my project onto SMART TFTs?
You can upload your project via USB or create a single encrypted file containing your project and upload it via SD card.

What type of displays do you sell?
We can offer a large range of VFDs, LCDs and embedded solutions.

What interfaces are available on your displays?
Our displays use a variety of interfaces such as RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, CAN & USB.

How can we perform software updates on your displays and maintenance of your embedded modules?
This varies amongst products but the majority can be performed via SD Card, USB or user interface from the host system.

I am not a business; can I still purchase directly from you?
In the first instance we encourage you to contact an approved distributor in your local area. We can sell directly to a consumer, providing payment can be made by bank transfer as we are currently unable to take payment by other means (UK only).

For standard product there is no MOQ.

We are constantly increasing our range of displays, please contact us if you are unable to find what you are looking for.
